The 2026 Land-linked Zambia Conference will open its doors during the first webinar to be held on Tuesday, 9 December 2025. The webinar, themed “TAZARA: What role can Zambia, Tanzania, and the private sector jointly play in repositioning TAZARA as a world-class transport asset” will stimulate dialogue on one of Africa’s most strategic transport corridors.
The discussion aligns with the groundbreaking ceremony held in Lusaka, Zambia, for the $1.4 billion TAZARA Revitalization Project, which is expected to significantly modernize its infrastructure and operations, and increase its freight capacity from 100,000 tonnes to 2.4 million tonnes. The milestone sets a timely background for discussions amongst stakeholders before and during the LLZ 2026 conference and expo.
