The passenger fair chart has charges for Ordinary and Express passenger trains for different classes, i.e. first, second, super seater and third class choice of travel.
The tickets are valid for twenty days for a single journey and sixty days for a return trip. Cancellation of the first, second and super seater class tickets will be done in written and refunded at a discounted rate twenty four hours before the departure of the train. Cancellation for the third class tickets should be at least three hours before departure. Otherwise the passenger will be assumed to have travelled.
Tickets are sold at most of TAZARA stations and also at TAZARA’s Lusaka area office in Kamwala area along Dedan Kimathi Street in Zambia.
