The Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA) regrets to inform our esteemed passengers that the Mukuba Passenger Train scheduled to depart New Kapiri Mposhi at 12:00 hours on Tuesday, 2 September 2025 has been cancelled due to unexpected operational challenges.
Service is expected to resume on Friday, 5 September 2025, with the Mukuba Passenger Train departing Kapiri Mposhi at 12:00 hours as per the normal timetable.
Ticketing & Assistance
Tickets already purchased for 2 September will remain valid for 5 September 2025 (same class and seat where possible).
Passengers who prefer not to travel on 5 September may rebook to a later date at no extra charge or request a full refund at the point of purchase.
